The third in a series exploring the five vayus (energies) in the body:
PRAN: Internalizing and rejuvenating aspect of prana. Drink in the energy of renewal that is Spring, and concentrate it within body, heart and mind.
Each class is in this series is uniquely sequenced to highlight one specific aspect of Prana (life force). At the heart of each practice is bhavana, or “feeling,” which thoughtfully links every stage of practice through breath and reminds us of our true nature.

The fourth in a series of four afternoon retreats, this afternoon session focuses on upekkha, or equanimity—cultivating a sense of balance that can carry us through the ups and downs of our lives with grace. The class will include brief instruction in vipassana (insight) meditation, walking and sitting meditation practice, plus gentle yoga asana, and a short lesson on equanimity.

Come learn the moon salutation, its benefits and how to work with it to bring about a more cool, calm aspect to your life and to your yoga practice. We will also practice asana, pranayama and mantra to celebrate the moon.
