At Mindful Yoga Collective, we are committed to providing our students with an environment where they can thrive and learn. We are a yoga and meditation studio in Salt Lake City, Utah, dedicated to passing on the ancient tradition of yoga to people of all skill levels. Mindful Yoga Collective promotes quiet, non-competitive classes so students can learn at their own speed, and replenish their own bodies and souls.

Mindful Yoga Collective opened in 2013. We are a group of longtime teachers with an average of 25 years of teaching experience. We are more than an exercise class; we offer a space where meditation and growth through yoga is possible for veterans and beginners alike. Our studio is a newly remodeled and sustainable space, built with non-toxic, green materials. We’re happy to share the building and our healing philosophy with our friends at Great Basin Chiropractic.

A Two-Hour Workshop with Breath, Movement and Intention

Join Toni for this experiential workshop and learn how to reenergize your mind/body/breath as we enter the autumn season. Become more aware of your surroundings and embrace being present. These slow movements will increase your stamina, reduce stress and allow your mind to clear.

How does it get any better than this? Just bring a friend, share the experience and take the workshop for $20 each (reg. $25 per person). Preregistration is encouraged, although walk-ins are welcome. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.

Foundations of Mindfulness: Meditation for Everyday Life

Mindfulness meditation is based in the traditional practice of vipassana meditation. Vipassana means “clear seeing.” Mindfulness practice teaches us how to see and be with our lives as they are. We learn to be present with our thoughts, emotions and conditioned patterns. When we become aware of the thoughts, emotions and patterns that “catch” us, we realize we have the power to transform those patterns that no longer serve us. In the process of dismantling our illusions, we begin to see more clearly into the inspiring truth of who we really are. Mindfulness is for everyone seeking to live a more peaceful, harmonious life.

I just returned from 18 days of practicing mindfulness and lovingkindness meditation at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and am inspired to share what I learned from the amazing teachers with whom I was honored to practice.
