At Mindful Yoga Collective, we are committed to providing our students with an environment where they can thrive and learn. We are a yoga and meditation studio in Salt Lake City, Utah, dedicated to passing on the ancient tradition of yoga to people of all skill levels. Mindful Yoga Collective promotes quiet, non-competitive classes so students can learn at their own speed, and replenish their own bodies and souls.
Mindful Yoga Collective opened in 2013. We are a group of longtime teachers with an average of 25 years of teaching experience. We are more than an exercise class; we offer a space where meditation and growth through yoga is possible for veterans and beginners alike. Our studio is a newly remodeled and sustainable space, built with non-toxic, green materials. We’re happy to share the building and our healing philosophy with our friends at Great Basin Chiropractic.

The third in a series, each of these three-hour workshops will leave you with a yoga, breath and meditation practice to work on as well as some simple chants.
Each workshop is $50 or you can take all four for $150.

The natural resonance and drumbeat carry you into a deeper intuitive space to relax, realize self-awareness and heal. Lying down on a mat, you are comfortably taken into a theta-state where all of your senses are amplified and your journey begins. Each time you embark, your experience will be unique and will vary from those around you. Every journey has meaning and symbolism to help you understand your life and lessons within it. Plants, animals, guides and ancestors often journey with us. If you have a specific focus or intention to explore, it will reveal itself.
Join me in this ParaYoga® workshop series as we explore the energetic theory behind bandhas and mudras, and come to understand how these practices can help us build and focus our pranic energies. We will then do an asana practice that incorporates bandhas and mudras, leading into pranayama, kriya and tantric meditation. While the lecture and practice will be different for each session and complement each other, it is fine to take only one in the series.
